Connected Levers a high-energy, 40-minute interactive workshop designed for CEOs, RTO leaders, and senior managers. Through short, focused sprints, participants move from insight to action, leaving with tangible strategies to strengthen educator development, retention, and wellbeing.
The session opens with a strategic overview of workforce sustainability and how Jobs and Skills Councils (JSC) Blueprint initiatives—such as PartnerED, ElevatED, and IgnitED—serve as connected levers that amplify national impact.
ElevatED: Empowering Energy Educators, Driving Innovation strengthens the TAFE and private RTO educator workforce by combining professional development with innovation. ElevatED addresses these gaps head-on, equipping TAFEs workforce with the skills, confidence, and tools needed to adapt to evolving industry and learner demands
IgnitED: Blueprint Live Showcase national online showcase for the VET Workforce Blueprint, and what it means for TAFEs around the country.
PartnerED: Building Stronger Connections Across TAFE drives collaboration between TAFEs, RTOs, industry, and government through frameworks for shared delivery, co-investment, and accountability, creating a more agile, connected system capable of meeting the energy sector’s evolving needs.
Participants engage in three action-focused sprints:
Impact Mapping Sprint – Identify local workforce levers and align them with national initiatives.
Barrier Busters Round – Surface barriers and explore JSC projects as enablers.
30–60–90 Action Lab – Develop measurable short-term commitments leveraging existing initiatives.
Facilitators use live polls, dot-voting, and real-time feedback to capture insights and commitments. The workshop concludes with a rapid report-back, reinforcing how local TAFE leadership actions connect with national reform momentum to strengthen educator wellbeing, development, and retention.
