Peter Komsta

Peter Komsta is Director, Business & Enterprise at RMIT University, where he leads a $40M+ portfolio of business programs, overseeing 130+ staff and driving industry partnerships across education, sport and enterprise. He has over 18 years’ experience across higher education, skills and workforce development, and has held senior roles with organisations including Melbourne Business School and national skills bodies. Peter previously served as Head of Venture Partnerships at Melbourne Business School, where he built a 300+ partner ecosystem across Asia-Pacific spanning corporates, startups, investors and government. At RMIT, he leads major sport-industry partnerships with Essendon Football Club and Cricket Victoria, and is driving the development of a Global Business of Sport Hub — connecting education, industry and community to create future workforce pathways. Peter is also active in community and climate initiatives, with a focus on building commercially sustainable, socially responsible and impact-led partnerships.
