Carolyn Smith
Carolyn Smith is Manager, Innovation Projects in RMIT’s College of Vocational Education, where she leads government-funded initiatives that design and pilot new vocational offerings to meet emerging industry needs. She is currently Project Manager for the Local Government Earn and Learn pilot project, leading a consortium of Victorian dual-sector universities to help address skills gaps among the state’s local government workforce. Drawing on more than 15 years’ experience in vocational education, Carolyn specialises in co-design and stakeholder engagement, end-to-end project management and learning design, ensuring that innovative models like Earn and Learn are both industry-responsive and scalable across multi-institutional TAFE partnerships.
