TDA 2026 Bio- Tammy Micola Von Furstenrecht is the Defence Solutions Manager at TAFE Queensland, leading work that supports Australian Defence Force members, veterans and their families to build strong futures in and beyond service. The team is deeply committed to honouring and thanking those who have served our nation by helping create meaningful pathways into education, training and if or when required support transitioning members to civilian careers. Known for her authentic, people-centred leadership, Tammy is passionate about creating practical opportunities that change lives. With extensive experience across workforce development, strategic partnerships and program leadership, she brings both purpose and impact to her work. Tammy strongly believes in the value of lifelong learning as a foundation for growth and overall wellbeing, supporting preparedness and possibility by equipping people with the skills, confidence and mindset to remain engaged and also be ready when opportunity arises.
