The power of TAFE lies in its ability to transform lives through learning - equipping students with the skills, confidence and support they need to succeed in study, work and life. Yet educators continue to face the complex task of meeting varied student needs while maintaining quality, consistency and industry alignment at scale.

This practical workshop explores how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming that challenge into an opportunity - empowering TAFE educators to deliver truly personalised, inclusive and responsive learning experiences that drive student success.

Participants will experience practical demonstrations of Catapult’s suite of AI tools, designed to embed innovation seamlessly across the TAFE learning environment:

  • Learner Assist AI provides 24/7 support that guides students through complex content, summarises key ideas and promotes deeper exploration. It offers real-time insights into engagement and areas of difficulty, helping educators tailor support and delivery.
  • Trainer Assist AI streamlines marking and feedback, identifies emerging learning challenges and supports academic integrity, enabling teachers to focus on mentoring and multimodal engagement.
  • Edify Assistant AI empowers educators to recontextualise and adapt learning and assessment materials to suit specific learning cohorts, industry or qualification requirements. By generating assessments that are high-quality and training package-aligned, they become more meaningful, authentic and aligned to individual learning and industry contexts.

Through practical demonstrations and discussion, attendees will explore how these tools enable a more personalised, equitable and efficient learning ecosystem that enables success for every student.
